The weather is really starting to heat up, a sign that Spring is in the rear view and Summer is just about here. I want to thank everyone who participated in our Spring Season 2012. It was our biggest season on record with 52 teams and over 250 registered players across the four sports. With Summer Season just about ready to start next week, and due to everyone's ongoing support of Camden Beach Sports, I predict that we will beat those numbers again in the new season.

MOVEMBER:
This year we have created a Camden Beach Sports team for Movember... "Camden Beach Mo's" if you are growing a Mo, or just keen to support the cause (Ladies are encouraged to join in!!), then jump onto the Movember website, and register in our team... http://au.movember.com/team/447789.
Also as part of Movember, Camden Beach Sports will be hosting the inaugural Movember Golf & Barefoot Bowls Challenge. Starting at 3pm on Friday, 30th Movember, participants will play a 9-hole, 2 Mo Ambrose Competition at Camden Golf Club (Studley Park). We will than make our weay to Camden Sports Club (Sporties!) for dinner and Barefoot Bowls Knock-out Tournament, followed by judging of the Mo's... Heaps of prizes and give-aways, plus 10% of every players registration fee will go directly to the Movember Foundation.
Cost: $75pp ($25 deposit paid by 25th Nov) includes golf fees, cart hire, barefoot bowls & dinner.

PRESENTATION NIGHT / CHRISTMAS PARTY:
To mark the end of Camden Beach Sports most successful year, we will be having a massive Christmas Party and Presentation Night. Each and every Season winner from 2012 will be recognised and presented with either trophies, medallions or voucher packs. Also on the night, we hope to unveil the new and up-to-date winners board, which lists the winners of each sport over the last five and half years. It will be great opportunity to catch up with all of your fellow Beach Sports fanatics, try some Barefoot Bowls, have a bite to eat from the "NEW" Bistro and have plenty of Christmas Drinks.
